This week, my first Podcast interview was published on the Self Aware Millennial podcast, and I’m SO excited to share this! You can find it on iTunes or at the link below.

In this podcast, Liv and I dive deeper into the topic of anxiety. This is the most vulnerable I have ever been on the internet, but I feel so passionately about this issue and have felt so enlightened recently after learning more about it.

If this podcast could help just one person have a better understanding of anxiety and how to cope, this will be worth it.

Anxiety is common. It is normal. And there are ways to effectively manage and sometimes overcome it.

The funny thing about anxiety is that sometimes you control it and sometimes you don’t.

This photo at the beach resembles my relationship with anxiety in so many ways because on this day, the sun was shining, the tides were small, and I felt so at peace and relaxed.

…I can’t say that’s always the case.

I’ve always felt like anxiety is frowned upon as I’ve personally felt so much pressure to always have a smile on my face, always be happy and basically always pretend to be perfect.

Navigating your twenties is actually pretty challenging at times and can be full of uncertainty and growth.

I loved recording this podcast because we talked about several ways to battle anxiety and my favorite, how to live purposefully.

We talk about where my anxiety started, what I’ve done to battle it, how the news and media affect it, how a career and job can affect it, the sensitive personality type, and just overall tips that can help when it starts to creep in.

So, if you’re wanting to learn more about anxiety, listen in and let me know what you think!
