I’m super excited to share with ya’ll my favorite pieces this season – from sweaters, jeans, the BEST holiday dress, boots and skirts. There are SO many fun items to share in this post!
Today I wanted to share 7 Christmas or Holiday party looks you can wear – ranging from casual to super dressed up! Each outfit I put together is meant to flatter that beautiful hourglass frame. I will explain in each option how we can accomplish this with each look.
Look #1: Leather Pants + Holiday Sweater + Booties

I just ADORE this sweater. I saw it on the rack and could not part ways with it. The sweater dresses up any outfit with the large, fancy bow. The leather leggings/pants help dress it down and go perfectly paired with a cute black bootie.
These leggings are super flattering and help shape the leg and booty nicely, and this sweater has the perfect snug fit. Wear this outfit to a semi-casual party or Christmas happy hour.
Look #2: Sock Booties + Suede Skirt
Each item in this outfit I am just SO obsessed with this season. To start with the sock booties by Steve Madden – they are SO cozy and actually flatter my legs (which I did not realize they would at first). They actually elongate the leg!!
Pair them with a cute mini skirt to accentuate your figure + tuck in a fluffy sweater and your look is complete!

Disclaimer: I definitely recommend a spray tan with any outfit showing leg 🙂 I use St. Tropez at home (linked above) or I go get a quick Versa spray.
Look #3: Casual & Chic
If you have a casual party to attend, but still want to be trendy, this look is easy to put together. Start with your favorite pair of skinny jeans (these pair pictured are one of my fave affordable options – this brand is SO comfy and they have the perfect stretch). Add in your favorite belt, sweater and over the knee boots. If it’s chilly, add a cute fuzzy coat like this one.
Look #4: The Sweater Dress
Sweater dresses can be difficult to find when you have a booty – so I have linked LOTS of options above 🙂
Another super cute + dressed up look I wanted to share is this hourglass framing sweater dress paired with gorgeous faux leather leggings. Add your favorite black bootie and you are ready to go!
Look #5: The Black on Black
This look is simple: either pair a black top + black/navy/jean/grey skirt/pant + black over the knee boots. This skirt is one of my all-time favorite suede skirts and this top is under $40. As always – a high waisted skirt is SUPER flattering and over the knee boots add trendiness and style to your everyday skirt.
Look #6: The Suede Jacket
Suede jackets are back this year and they are allll the rage (again). Naturally, I had to snag one on sale this Black Friday. I love greys or browns for suede. This look would be a great holiday party look if you have a casual gathering. This is also THE softest sweater in my closet and it’s almost always on sale!
Look #7: The Perfect Dress (Apologies for photo quality)
Easily my favorite holiday dress in my closet – I have not had the chance to photograph this one yet but I couldn’t help but share it anyway. I cannot tell ya’ll how difficult it is to find a dress that fits in all the right places AND is flattering to my shape!!
This dress is seriously a GODSEND and I think SO many body types would look amazing in it. But ESPECIALLY those who have that hourglass (larger on the bottom, smaller on the top). I got SO many compliments when I wore this and just everything from the sleeves to the length to the shape.
Go get it before it sells out, this one is sure to be a hit!
